If you guys ask for more composer FAILs, you will receive more composer FAILs.
I don’t remember what I submitted, but that’s okay: I actually have a few performances this week. (If only I could chat with my twenty-year-old self and tell her that everything will work out okay, I would…)
- If you missed the Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble last week, they are still in Ohio: they will be performing excerpts of Prisoner of Conscience at the University of Toledo this Tuesday, February 28 at 7:30 p.m. (Ladies, I wish I could be there, so I’m giving you all a HUGE hug. I’m also giving a huge hug to all those brave underclassmen at the University of Toledo who performed the crap out of that piece last year. I miss you guys so much.)
- The Central Ohio Symphony will be performing the Central Ohio premiere of The Ferry Crossing this Sunday, March 5 at 3 p.m. (I wish I could be there in person too! I’ll certainly be at every rehearsal.)
- The University of Texas Wind Ensemble will be premiering my piece The Eyes of the World Are Upon You this Sunday, March 5 at 7 p.m. (How excited am I? VERY. I’m very excited. (Also I promise I’m on this concert. Promise.))
Austin, I am coming at you!
